If you run a business, you care about three simple things. Did the money show up? Did the right person say yes? Did it finish moving?
A useful way to think about a Bancoli Smart Wallet is receive, approve, settle.
The experience should feel familiar. You get a dashboard, clear balances, and approvals, like a normal business account. You stay in control of your funds. Bancoli does not own or control your money.
What a Smart Wallet is
A Bancoli Smart Wallet is where your business can hold supported digital dollars (USDC, USDi, and USDT) and move them in Bancoli’s app.
In plain words:
- You are in control of your funds. Bancoli does not own them and does not control them.
- You work in a familiar flow. Open the dashboard, see balances, and approve moves the way you would in a normal account.
- People with wallet access must approve each move. That approval is an MFA step or a passkey, a simple yes on the device.
Bancoli still gives you the dashboard, compliance tools, settlement pathways, and feature access. That support does not mean Bancoli takes ownership of your funds.
Important for teams: several people can have Bancoli business logins. That does not automatically let them move Smart Wallet funds. Only people with wallet access can approve moves.
Smart USD is a view, not a second account
Smart USD is the combined balance view of eligible USDC, USDi, and USDT at a 1:1 USD display.
It is not:
- a separate currency
- a fiat USD bank account
- a pooled company wallet Bancoli owns
- a deposit account
- a new asset
Balances in that view come from your Smart Wallet funds. The app does not show a separate client-facing fiat USD balance tile.
Receive
Receive means supported funds show up in your Smart Wallet so you can see them, like watching a payment land in a normal account.
In practice:
- An authorized owner turns on the Smart Wallet before the team can use those balances and transfers.
- Supported digital dollars can move into the wallet. USDC, USDi, and USDT in and out are part of the Smart Wallet feature set.
- Smart USD shows the combined picture of those balances in the dashboard.
Simple checks:
- Use the asset and network your Bancoli dashboard supports for that move.
- Features can still depend on plan, verification status, and location. Your dashboard shows what is enabled for your account.
Approve
Approve means a real person decides. That is the same habit you want in any careful business account.
Receive can be quiet. Moving money should not be a shrug.
For Bancoli Smart Wallets:
- Wallet access uses at least two social logins over SSO. You pick from Google, Apple, X, or Telegram during wallet setup.
- Setup asks for two at least. Those dedicated social logins are the gates for transaction approvals.
- Those wallet social accounts do not have to match your Bancoli business login. It is better if they are different.
- Approvals use an MFA step or a passkey for confirmation on the device. It is a familiar yes, do this.
- If only two people have wallet access, only they can move funds, even if the company has many Bancoli users.
Grandma rule: if the right person did not approve, the money should stay put.
Design who holds those two social logins before the first big payment. Protect them like any treasury login.
Settle
Settle means the payment finishes through the pathways your account can use.
Bancoli’s platform includes settlement pathways alongside the dashboard and compliance tools. Your funds stay yours. When a move needs an approval, it still comes from someone with wallet access. Then settlement continues along the rails available for your account.
In plain words:
- Money is received into your Smart Wallet (and may show in Smart USD).
- The right person approves the action.
- Settlement moves along the rails Bancoli makes available for your account.
We are not listing fees, licenses, or insurance claims here. Those belong in product disclosures and your live dashboard, not in a blog guess.
How this feels vs a messy payment habit
| Messy habit | Smart Wallet habit |
|---|---|
| Anyone with a shared login might move funds | Only people with wallet access can approve |
| Hard to tell if money landed | Receive into the wallet; Smart USD shows eligible balances in the dashboard |
| Guessing which asset or network to use | Use what your dashboard supports |
| Unclear who owns the money | You stay in control; Bancoli does not own or control your funds |
FAQ
Is a Smart Wallet the same as a bank deposit account?
No. Smart USD is only a combined balance view of eligible USDC, USDi, and USDT. It is not a fiat USD deposit account. You still use a familiar dashboard and approval flow.
Who can move money from the Smart Wallet?
Only people with wallet access (the social logins set up for the wallet) after they approve the action. Bancoli seats alone are not enough.
Do wallet social logins have to match the Bancoli business login?
No. Wallet access uses at least two social logins from Google, Apple, X, or Telegram. They do not have to match your Bancoli business login, and it is better if they are different.
Which digital dollars does the Smart Wallet support?
USDC, USDi, and USDT in and out, as Smart Wallet features (not a fiat USD account view). Networks and eligibility still follow your dashboard.
What is Smart USD?
Smart USD is the combined display of eligible USDC, USDi, and USDT from your Smart Wallet. It is not a new asset or a separate fiat USD account.
Can my whole finance team approve moves if they have Bancoli logins?
Only if they also have wallet access through those social logins and complete MFA or passkey approval. If only two people have wallet access, only those two can move funds, even when many people have Bancoli seats. Do not assume seats equal approvers.
Does Bancoli own or control my funds?
No. You stay in control of your funds. Bancoli does not own them and does not control them. Bancoli provides the dashboard, tools, and settlement pathways. It does not own your money.
If you want stablecoin-first business payments with a clear receive, approve, settle habit, and an experience that still feels like a normal account, start with Bancoli’s Smart USD Wallet. FX is built in for the mainstream path, so you do not need an API to get going. Check live eligibility in-product. Plans, verification, and location still matter.
Enterprise teams that need an API can look at the Global Business Account as a separate tier. It is not the default next step for Smart Wallet.
